Spring Bulbs!

10/01/2006

J.Parkers in Old Trafford have kindly donated a huge number of Spring bulbs (mainly different varieties of daffodils and tulips) to Red Rose Forest Community Network groups.

If you have any events coming up, or any sites that could be brightened up, you're welcome to come along and collect as many bulbs as you can use. Likewise, if you are working with any community groups or schools that could benefit from these freebies, please pass this info onto them.

They are being stored at Mersey Valley Visitor Centre, Sale Water Park. If you are interested, please call the Visitor Centre beforehand, as the opening times vary, and a member of the Mersey Valley Wardens team will need to be there to open up the store room. The number for the Visitor Centre is 0161 905 1100.

If you would like more information about Red Rose Forest, please call Ellen on 0161 872 1660 or email www.redroseforest.co.uk
