Wouldn't it be great if we could all make a difference?

26/02/2007

Manchester's 100 Days Challenge is back for its fourth year – and this time it’s focussing on your views. We want you and your friends and neighbours to take a look at where you live and to consider the issues that matter to you, and whether you can set up or support local projects that have a positive impact on your area.

Projects could include a previous year's project (such as a hanging basket scheme) being revisited for this year, or starting a community planting project that will be maintained all year round. It might be a scheme where residents will, in addition, look after each other's plants and baskets if a neighbour is ill or away. This could form the basis of a gardening club that develops the Bloom entry.
