Paupers Wood Chorlton!

26/02/2007

Paupers Wood in Chorlton was awarded the 3rd biodiversity hotspot on the 2nd September.

The woodland is a great example of how community groups can make a difference in their local patch.

The wood is being managed to provide a natural habitat for wildlife combined with outdoor learning for children as it's also being run as a Forest School. Paupers Wood is on the junction of Nell Lane and Princess Road, and if you would like more information or would like to visit the wood, please email the group at pauperswood@gmail.com
