Rochdale Canal Clean Up

On Saturday 6 March Manchester City Council, in partnership with British Waterways, took to the canal path in Manchester to clear the build up of litter.
As part of the British Waterway's "Towpath Tidy Initiative", local resident volunteers and local councillors cleared the canal towpath area from Canal Street to Castlefield, fillin 10 bags worth of rubbish.
